The Harlalka Award was instituted in the memory of Late Shri S N Harlalka - an active member and Past President of the Federation. (He was also a Founding Member and Past President of EICMA).

The award is presented to individuals who have contributed meritoriously to the cause of corrugated packaging. Contributions could be in any form - technology, innovation, design or towards promotion, growth and development of corrugated packaging industry.

The winner is chosen by a 3 member FCBM committee and the award is declared and presented at the Annual Conference of the Federation.

Year - 2005

Shri Subhash Goel of Bharat Packaging, Delhi, is a well known, respected personality in the Corrugated Packaging Industry. He has been actively associated with NICMA and FCBM since over 20 years. He was the President of NICMA and has chaired the recent 3 FCBM Conferences hosted by NICMA.

He has been the Member of FCBM Managing Committee for over 15 years and has actively served in many of FCBM Committees.

He is actively associated with many Socio-Religious Charitable Organizations:

• Patron Trustee & Member Managing Committee of Maharaja Agrasain Hospital, New Delhi
• General Secretary of Agarwal Sabha, Paschim Vihar, New Delhi
• Trustee of Shree Kunj Bihari Nishkam Sewa Trust, Delhi
• Trustee of Brijeshwari Dham, Govardhan, Vrindavan, Mathura
• Trustee of Sukhdham Charitable Trust, Haridwar
• Member, Sahalakar Board, Meri Dilli, New Delhi. He is presently the Honorary Secretary of FCBM

Shri R. R. Ankola has been engaged in the manufacture of Corrugated Boxes since over 20 years. The company he heads – PAKRITE, Mumbai, was established way back in 1959.

A very popular and active personality Shri R. R. Ankola is a Past President of WICMA and has been Hon. Secretary of FCBM since 2000.

Shri R. R. Ankola is in the Managing Committee of Thane Small Scale Industries Association and Member of Bombay Industries Association.

Shri R. R. Ankola takes keen interest in the activities of the Industry Associations and has contributed significantly to the growth and development of the corrugated packaging industry.

Year - 2004

Shri Parmod Kumar with his rich experience in printing and packaging, entered the field of corrugated packaging in 1979. He has been actively associated with NICMA since 1985 and was President of NICMA for two years.

He headed the 1994 FCBM Conference as Conference Chairman.

As Chairman of the Public Relation Committee – FCBM since 4 years, Shri Parmod Kumar has effectively represented the issues of FCBM to the Govt. of India and other authorities. He has worked tirelessly in getting the R & D Projects of FCBM, approved through Cess Fund from Govt. of India.

Shri Parmod Kumar is happily married and is blessed with two children.

Shri Ashok Vyas is the Chairman of Nalanda Group of Companies having their manufacturing units at Mumbai, Goa, Aurangabad and Nepal.

He has three decades of experience in the field of Corrugated Packaging. Nalanda Packaging got the Best Vendor Award from E-Merck (India) Limited for their outstanding performance, conforming to their Standards of Excellence.

Shri Ashok Vyas has been actively associated with WICMA and FCBM since 1986 and has been the President of FCBM and WICMA. His contribution to the growth and development of FCBM and WICMA is well recognised. Soft spoken and outgoing, Shri Ashok Vyas is happily married and has two children. Music and Badminton are his second love.
